»Hello, my name is Jascha Sommer, I am 29 years old. I live in the Ruhr area and work as a performance and video artist. But I could also be someone completely different. For example, I could have completed the same education, have the same job and live the same life as you. How would I introduce myself then? How would I talk? What questions would I have about life?« In the stage video work of the same name, Jascha Sommer, 29, borrows self-portraits, memories and life plans of people unknown to him and becomes someone else. In the autobiographies of the others, he encounters individual and collective history, touching moments, curious anecdotes - and always himself. This creates a dialogue between past and present, fiction and reality, theatre stage and film, performer and audience.
