Jascha Sommer lives in Cologne. He works as performance and media artist and as curator in collaborations. With his artistic performances, installations and walks, Jascha Sommer creates intensive encounters and spatiotemporal interruptions. As artist he is collaborating with Engel&Sommer and Anna Kpok. He is part of IN SITU, the European platform for artistic creation in public space. In his role as performance curator Jascha Sommer is co-director of the FWT: Köln and part of Cheers for Fears. He designs theatre, festival and academy programs as well as event series.
